Biography

My father was a Methodist Minister, who made sure I learned honesty, work ethics, persistence, and Christianity.
I graduated from Asbury College, Wilmore Ky, with a degree in chemistry, a minor in biology, zoology, math, and physics. I was accepted into University of Cincinnati Medical School, earned a MD degree, completed internship and fellowship in sleep medicine and pulmonary. I retired from medicine six years ago, and have been in writing the last three years.
It seems I have always been working or learning. I was a paper boy, a lifeguard, a dishwasher in a summer camp, and even taught myself to build boats. My family moved every 2-3 years, not my favorite, but it taught me how to quickly adapt to new people and circumstances.
My biggest regret was having to turn down an invitation to my high school’s Quill and Dagger Society, as my family moved that summer. But, I am making up for it now, having worked the last two years in the Marketing Dept. of my old hospital.
My Marketing Boss says I like to work, and she took full advantage of it. I like to think I did help the Hospital’s market share, and improved both the Hospital’s and the Marketing Dept.’s reputation.
I hope to do the same for any businesses I work with.
